I’m a graduate. Whether I’ve worked hard enough at all to deserve it or not, I’m still a graduate.

My friends overseas always go the extra mile to make sure I feel well taken care of and even though by the time I’m over we’ll be connecting on a different level, as guest and host rather than as two visitors to a foreign country who never knew better (or even, to be extremely crude, got to know each other purely looking for benefits) I still feel extremely glad that I can get to see people I never thought I’d see face-to-face again, and talk about normal stuff.
It’s always good to be received and taken care of, no? I hope I can do the same for them if they ever decide to drop by for a visit, with my busy Asian-style work schedule and all.

And I find it very difficult to get along with people who do.
We’re guys, I’m sure we can be forgiven for being a bit less detail-oriented sometimes. And if it really reaches a point when the nitty gritty actually matters, we always have the very meticulous ladies who can, and most certainly will, drill the details into us. The last thing I need, though, is another guy hanging off my ear and nagging at me.
